Sometimes you may need to step back and re-evaluate your real estate “why” to pin point it in a new or side move direction that gives you a sharper focus on work, life, and family. People do change as we grow and not just during teenage and young adult years.
This growth derives from experience, trial and error, changing attitudes, and directions. Change is an evolution to be welcomed with open minds not fear.
Do you think you have more than one passion in the real estate industry? If you answered yes you are in good company. Many people have more than one thing that drives them, fulfills their expectations, and rewards them financially and enhances the quality of life. It is the reason we work and strive and be satisfied in living and career.
If you answered no that is just fine, too. It can certainly be beneficial to concentrate on one aspect of the real estate industry and achieve an expert status that you can use to market yourself in various formats.
Take an assessment of what moves you to succeed in your chosen field. This is the why, the why is your passion. People who choose to not follow their passion for whatever reason will not fulfill themselves. A passion is not the same as an interest, it is all consuming, and it should be.
“To be successful, the first thing you do is fall in love with your work.” – Sister Mary Lauretta, educator
Helping others is our basic passion.
Lending a hand to help someone lift a heavy bag of charcoal into their vehicle in the market parking lot gives us a warm feeling of satisfaction, that we put a smile on that person’s lips. Serving others is built into our psyche. Human nature. This is a powerful emotion for greater success and self-satisfaction. Everyone needs to be valued and that is where your personality thrives.
All of us in the real estate industry help clients achieve their dreams and the freedom of home ownership.
Watch people looking at new homes in a development and observe them searching with their eyes at new exterior designs and interior concepts. See them smile and point at what attracts them. The newness sells.
In the home resale market we are instrumental in helping people get their first home or upgrading to a larger property that suits their needs and wants.
